I bought three-great household tool January 9, 2007 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
I recently became interested in the humidity indicator, and I found E10 to be the most affordable without having too small of a display. So far, it's been nice to have it in our bedroom, and although I bought three, I ended up giving two away. The recipients really liked it.
Pro: Large enough display. Simple. Con: Wish it had a light button or something to see at night. I often check the indicator to check the room temp and humidity level (although the humidity level doesn't fluctuate too much despite my humidifiers).
This is a great buy, and I would buy more in the future...
temp/humidity check February 13, 2008 Product performed as advertised. Adequately displays temperature and humidity, which is the intention of the product.
Gives Temp and Relative Humidity February 24, 2008 Does what I need it to do which is to tell me if the humidity is too high for storing items and for dust mites, mold, etc I have a dehumidifier and it seems to be lowering the humidity. I have several appliances that give the temp and they are all a few degrees apart.... So I can't be sure, but I can get the general idea. This item does tell me whether the humidity has increased or decreased, which is what I needed.
Not bad December 8, 2006 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I brought this one and also one by Weather Channel, both do show similar readings. This one is good for its size and price.
Cheap, not sure how accurate though. January 3, 2007 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
For the cost it is the best deal I think I have found. Not sure how accurate it is though. I have a more expensive humidity meter and they are about 5-7% different when placed beside each other. Not sure which one is incorrect. I use this one during the winter and keep the room it is in at 50% humidity level with my humidifier. This is a great thing to have when the heat is on during the winter. Sinus problems, respiratory issues, and dry skin are just a few of the things that happen in dry environments. The printed meter on the unit explains what is a good level of humidity is for different situations.
